Morais Pleased With Return

Filipe Morais has said he was delighted to almost get a full game against Portsmouth as he continues to come back from injury.

Speaking to the Official Site after playing 85 minutes in the match, Morais was also full of praise for the travelling support.

‘It wasn’t long ago that I was injured, it was a big ask because I’ve not trained a lot, but I got nearly 90 minutes so I’m really happy. The manager has been keen on getting me straight in which has been good and he likes me up front which I am delighted with as well because I feel I can make more of an impact up there. I couldn’t ask for more really.’

Morais joked when asked if he was getting tired towards the end, by saying he was tired ‘probably twenty minutes before that!’

On the fans he added.

‘They were loud, I could hear them all game and there was a lot of banter coming from them actually, it was quite funny. I heard a few things that I won’t say on camera but it was great support as always.’
