Beardsley out for six weeks

Fan’s favourite Chris Beardsley will be out of action for six weeks after picking up an injury in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy. The striker, who scored at Aldershot just over a week ago, dislocated his shoulder in the JPT game against Brentford. According to the Comet, X-rays have confirmed the injury to his left shoulder.

Stevenage have already lost one player to a dislocated shoulder in a cup-tie this season, when Darren Murphy suffered the same injury against Portsmouth in the Carling Cup. Perhaps we should pull out of the FA Cup?
