Manager Graham Westley has again said that a manager can only ask one thing from Cup draw’s, and that’s to get a home tie, which is exactly what we got when the Capital One Cup first round decided we should host Watford.

Speaking to the Official Site following the announcement of the game against Watford, the gaffer explained.

‘The only thing that a manager wants in any cup is a home draw. That always gives you your chance, irrespective of the opposition. To draw a local club in a derby fixture is terrific for club finances and to draw a Championship club with such a strong team is a great opportunity for our players to prove themselves as being better than the level they will start at this season.’

Westley goes on to say that having beat Ipswich Town at home at this stage of the Cup last term, gives everybody good confidence for this tie, because in his opinion we are now a stronger team already this season, so we definitely ‘have a winning chance’ but there are no doubts that the game won’t be easy.
