Roberts’ Tranmere Reaction

Caretaker manager Mark Roberts has spoken of his feelings following the loss to Tranmere in our last game.

Speaking to the Official Site Roberts said he was disappointed to come out of the game with nothing to show for it because everybody was determined to bring an end to our losing streak.

‘The week had been all focused on winning, the lads showed a lot of good things in the game but unfortunately it didn’t turn out the way we had planned.’

Roberts admitted that although conditions weren’t great, we couldn’t use that as an excuse because that applied to both teams.
