Match Day referee Salisbury (Lancashire) has officiated one Stevenage game so far this season – the two nil loss to Notts County in the opening game of the campaign. In that match he showed five yellow cards and two red cards, four yellows and one red were shown to Stevenage.

He has however already taken in sixteen other matches so far in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and Football divisions, he has handed out a total of 48 yellow cards and five red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Bury and Wigan Athletic on October 10 with a total of seven yellows being shown and one red.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of our players edge closer to automatic bans.
