This evening the draw for the FA Cup second round was made meaning Stevenage now know they will have an away tie against Yeovil.

Dreams of FA Cup glory continue for many still involved after the first round, which saw the entry into the competition of the Football League clubs including ourselves, with a place in round three the prize this time round.

Following the draw, made on BBC2, it is now known all that stands between us and that place in that third round, when the ‘big boys’ come out to play with a possible big money draw awaiting, is a win in this second round tie.

Not that it’ll be as straightforward as that of course! This is the FA Cup we’re talking about isn’t it!

Second round draw in full:-

Aldershot/Bradford City v Chesham United
Barnet v Brackley Town/Newport County
Peterborough v Luton
Portsmouth v Accrington Stanley
Stourbridge v Eastleigh
Northampton Town v Northwich/Boreham Wood
Exeter v Port Vale/Maidenhead United
Cambridge United v Doncaster Rovers
Grimsby v Shrewsbury
Yeovil Town v Stevenage
Rochdale v Bury
Welling United v Carlisle
Leyton Orient v Scunthorpe
Millwall v Wycombe
Colchester United v Altrincham
FC United/Chesterfield v Walsall
Sheffield United v Mansfield/Oldham
Salford City v Hartlepool
Dagenham & Redbridge/Morecambe v Whitehawk

These games will be played across the weekend beginning Friday 4th December.

Now the questions being asked are, are you happy with the tie and are you confident of the chances of making it into the third round?
