Higher league clubs have a free weekend, due to the latest international break, but it’s business as usual for Stevenage.

Stevenage take on improving Carlisle United, who have done well under new boss Keith Curle, at Brunton Park this afternoon.

Carlisle have doubts surrounding David Amoo (hamstring) and Anthony Sweeney (shoulder) but Sean O’Hanlon (toe) should be but Courtney Meppen-Walter and Matty Robson are still sidelined.

Stevenage have an ongoing issue with Calvin Zola (ankle), with the striker struggling since his summer signing, he remains doubtful.

Adam Marriott, Cameron Lancaster, Simon Walton and Harry Worley all remain unavailable to Graham Westley.

Ahead of the game Westley told BBC Three Counties Radio: ‘I watched Carlisle at Tranmere (1-1 draw on Tuesday) and they are one of the best League Two sides I have seen in a while.

‘The new manager has invigorated them. They are playing some good football. I never moan about misfortune or bad luck -it always comes for a reason.

‘We’re going through that phase where we’re still making mistakes. It’s horrible to be a fan of a team that isn’t quite getting it right.

‘We have to remain resolute and keep building our performance.’
